Bio

Rush graduated from West Virginia University (WVU) in the spring of 2017 with a degree in Sport and Exercise Psychology. After graduation, he moved back to his hometown of Burke, Virginia and started working for a management consulting company with the intention of moving back to West Virginia as soon as he had the chance. Well, in 2020, with the rise of the COVID-19 pandemic, and all work moving to virtual, he was able to move back to Morgantown, West Virginia.

Rush understands West Virginia has it’s struggles, but what is amazing about West Virginia is the pride and love West Virginian’s have for their state. Rush moved here from the D.C. area to give West Virginia a voice and empower it’s citizens. Yes, times might be tough, but tough people are the ones who last. West Virginia has all the makings of an incredible comeback story. Rush did move to BEST Virginia after all.
